I am serious. clean out your billfold, your money belt, and keep all money, bank cards and chequebooks at home. Take whatever cash you are planning to spend on alcohol, tipping and whatever pocket coins you intend to lose and leave the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Realistic really. You may well discover a success after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be fortunate enough to catch a marathon roll at a hot craps table. Hold on to that account because it is as brief as it gets if you continually drink and bet. The 2 simply do not mix.
Keeping your money at home is a little dramatic, however, precautionary actions for drastic actions is relative and required. If you gamble to win, then don’t consume alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to throw away your cash without a second thought, then consume all the no charge booze your gut can handle, but do not take debit cards and cheques to toss into the combination of chasing losses once your drunken brain squanders all the cash!
