Craps

Craps feels like like a abstract game, and it can be, but you do not have to understand all of the rules to compete in it well and get a fair return. If you stick with the general wagers with a very low house edge and do not wager when you are not certain what it is you are betting on and its odds.

By betting on the pass line and buying odds you can bet with almost no casino edge. This just about makes the saying ‘betting’ false if you really think it over.

Pass Line

The contest starts by making a wager on the Pass or Do not Pass prior to the first roll. If a 7 or 11 is rolled 1st you win and 2, 3, or 12 means you loss if you wager on pass. The converse is accurate if you bet on Don’t Pass. With the exception of 12 which is a push if you place a bet Do not Pass. Just about all gamblers bets on Pass, so if you decide on Do not Pass, do not draw attention to yourself, specifically if you win. If you come away with a win that means everybody else just loss, and are not going to take kindly to boasting. Should any number other than two, 3, seven, eleven or twelve be rolled 1st, that number is the point. Don’t place a bet on the Pass line following the Come Out toss, it is legal, but the odds are against you.

Purchasing the Odds

In order to take advantage of the betting with virtually no casino advantage, you must initially bet on the Pass Line. Next you will be able to wager a multiple (dependent on the casino) of your Pass wager that the point will be tossed before a 7. Depending on the number of the point, you can earn up to 2:1.

Gambling along these basic lines will provide you with honest chance of coming out a champ. Add the excitement that the craps always seems to deliver and the only way to be deprived of it is not to compete.
