Wager Large and Gain A Bit playing Craps
If you commit to using this scheme you want to have a very big amount of cash and incredible fortitude to step away when you generate a small win. For the purposes of this story, a sample buy in of $2,000 is used.
The Horn Bet numbers are not always considered the "winning way to wager" and the horn bet itself carries a house edge of over 12 %.
All you are wagering is $5 on the pass line and a single number from the horn. It doesn’t matter whether it is a "craps" or "yo" as long as you wager it routinely. The Yo is more dominant with people using this scheme for obvious reasons.
Buy in for $2,000 when you sit down at the table but only put $5.00 on the passline and one dollar on either the two, three, 11, or 12. If it wins, excellent, if it loses press to $2. If it loses again, press to four dollars and continue on to $8, then to $16 and following that add a $1.00 each subsequent wager. Each instance you do not win, bet the previous value plus a further dollar.
Using this scheme, if for example after fifteen rolls, the number you chose (11) has not been tosses, you really should walk away. Although, this is what could happen.
On the tenth toss, you have a total of one hundred and twenty six dollars in the game and the YO finally hits, you come away with $315 with a profit of $189. Now is a good time to walk away as it’s more than what you joined the game with.
If the YO doesn’t hit until the 20th roll, you will have a complete bet of $391 and because your current bet is at $31, you come away with $465 with your take being $74.
As you can see, adopting this approach with only a $1.00 "press," your profit margin becomes tinier the longer you play on without winning. This is why you should step away once you have won or you have to bet a "full press" again and then continue on with the one dollar increase with each toss.
Crunch the data at home before you try this so you are very adept at when this approach becomes a losing adventure rather than a winning one.
